Nonprofits are turning more and more toward grants as a source of funding for their causes, and that’s not a bad idea—if and only if you can devote the necessary time and energy into it. The first sample proposal is a mock example from the Grant Doctor , and proposes funding to raise awareness of breast cancer in Marin County, California. This next proposal, written by Julie Colaw, was fully funded through the West Virginia NASA Space Grant Consortium.
