I spent today at day 1 of the TechSoup Global Summit in Mountain View with two hundred and forty people who work in the TechSoup Global Network around the world, plus other stakeholders. I’ve been involved with TechSoup/Netsquared Network since its inception back six years ago and so it is nice to be part of the narrative arc.

Part of my role as the Global Community Development Manager at NetSquared is to support and grow our offline organizers from around the world. We now have over 50 cities globally hosting monthly events with many more getting started.

Over the past 18 months, I’ve been participating in The Network of Networked Funders , a community of practice for grantmakers facilitated by the Monitor Institute. In the evening on April 5th from 6-7 PM PST, I’ll facilitate an evening conversation about inspirational stories of the power of networks. Story of Stuff.

For the last two and a half years, Amy has worked as Community Development Manager for Community-Driven Innovation at TechSoup Global , but we knew her back when she was just setting out on the road to nptech super-stardom with the Meyer Memorial Trust right here in Portland, where she led our local 501 Tech Club.
