Very few speakers or attendees reported using these tools for fundraising, though. UC Berkeley talked about a badge that donors can post to their Facebook pages after making a gift ("I Feed The Bears").

I'm getting ready to a workshop later this week, I did a simple pre-workshop assessment, asking folks about their level of experience/comfort and their burning questions. " It does take more time in the beginning if you're just acquiring the skill with a particular tool. Also, the categories have overlap in terms of tools.

Last week, I did a workshop for a board of a secondary school interested in taking the first steps into social media. They were all on Facebook (turned their noses up at Myspace), watch YouTube videos, and use IM applications, with more 20 people on their IM lists. Facebook, for instance ??? No surprise there.
