But with new technologies, sometimes you have to stop and ask yourself, is it just being used for the sake of the media itself, or is it actually adding to my blended learning portfolio? Why Mobile learning is actually worth its grain of salt. Why should I want to participate in this learning exercise?

The Concept of Microlearning

Today, we will evaluate microlearning and the potential it carries in reference to bolstering a learning program. Microlearning is a brief (less than 5 minute) learning component with a focus on a very particular learning object (specifically a skill, behavior, or compliance piece). However, with the migration of learnings to more accessible on the go mobile learning (mLearning) platforms such as phones and tablets, their need becomes a bit more noticeable.
