Environment aside, from a consumers standpoint it makes a tremendous amount of sense. Additionally, there has been a lot of rhetoric on the part of the automakers regarding the greenness of their operations, when in fact what we are seeing is a lot of green-washing. They recognize that green is very vogue right now.
