In June, the Stanford Social Innovation Review published a two-part piece by TechSoup Global Founder and Chief Instigator, Daniel Ben-Horin. I thought it might be fun to recount a perfectly random cross-section of folks who came by chat at the TechSoup booth on a Tuesday at the SOCAP event. In September 2006, Marin County soft ordered 22 Plug-in Hybrids Electric Vehicles. In October the City of Berkeley soft ordered 40 plug-ins and in December the city of Alameda soft ordered 98. What's going on?
