Can love change the world? I hope so!

Amy Sample Ward

I have talked many times before about the way we as nonprofit organizations and changemakers set our goals. (If we focus our work on feeding the hungry, for example, do we actually create a system in which we rely on people needing our services? What would happen, instead, if organizations focused on eliminating hunger?) Going beyond, I think that we can look not just at our goals, but also at the passion we use to fuel our work.

How often are you sending bulk emails?

NetWits

How often do you send out bilk email communications? Once a day? Twice a day? Three times a week? Every three months? The frequency of your email blasts has a huge impact on the success of your email program. Send too frequently and you risk fatiguing your subscribers, making them reach for the ‘report as spam’ or ‘unsubscribe’ button.

HOW TO: Launch a Mobile Photo-Sharing Campaign for Your Nonprofit

Nonprofit Tech for Good

Nonprofits pioneered social media. They were on Myspace and organizing via Facebook Groups years before corporate brands, higher education, and broadcast and print media.
