IWith.org - A Spanish Tech Social Enterprise

Beneblog: Technology Meets Society

IWith.org - A Spanish Tech Social Enterprise I have just gotten back from a great family vacation (may post a picture or two) where we ended the trip up in Spain for five days. It reminded me of this cool social enterprise group I have been in touch with, founded by Jordi Duran (originally from Barcelona). Jordi's background is similar to mine (but he's much younger!

Beth's Blog: How Nonprofits Can Use Social Media

This kind soul happen to walk by when the flickr blogher meetup birds of a feather session ended and we needed a group photo. I know that the photo was taken on this blogher's camera phone. But I can't find her card and I can't find the photo. Can anyone help? And, while I was listening to folks wax rhapsodic, I took photos and practiced some of the points that Heather Champ mentioned during her digital photography workshop yesterday.

First Thoughts on Second Life

Michael Stein's Non-profit Technology Blog

I've been listening with one ear to the buzz about Second Life and non-profits for a while now, and paying it very little attention. But Beth Kanter has an interesting post on July 25th that grew out of a conversation she had with Susan Tenby of TechSoup. The chat focused on Techsoup's recent enthusiasm for the virtual reality site -- Susan and her colleagues have constructed a virtual office for TechSoup on the SL and recently held a public online event there.
