And we did as much as we could live, using a vanilla demo version of Common Ground, to show attendees exactly where and how to do what I was talking about. I also will log in as a user in order to build my tutorials, as my administrator view can sometimes be very different and I want my screenshot-based lessons to show what they see.

I would bring the laptop and plug into the phone line and do demos in small groups. Someone on the call had moderator access and was able to flip the slides (I had them memorized) and they also read any of the questions in the chat line to me. Maybe not as many demos. Thank goddness Beth Raney has this tutorial.
