Your Cambodian aren't the only folks left behind. I haven't been back to Second Life since my noted introduction because my computer doesn't handle it that well. And this isn't some dumpy $100 laptop - I'm using a G4 Mac PowerBook!

I still want to go back to SL, but I need to find a good time when I can quit all other applications and focus myself and my processor on it.

I blogged on a similar topic recently, but was not able to accomplish as much as you were on my first visits to SL (I haven't yet quite got the hang of navigating and my computer keeps slowing down). Here's my take on using SL and other games for health & social change:
