Be A Voice for Darfur is an excellent example of multi-channel campaign designed to bring attention to the appalling genocide in Darfur. The genocide in Darfur continues - now in its sixth year and at the price of nearly half a million lives. Most importantly, you can influence others to stand up and be a voice for Darfur.

Thursday, December 6, from 8:00 – 9:45 pm ET/PT, HBO will screen a documentary by Paul Freedman about Darfur, Sand and Sorrow. If you don't have HBO, like me, you can watch a live stream of the full film on the HBO web site December 7-9. George Clooney is the film's narrator and Executive Producer.

See the Darfur scores for example. And incidentally, add #6 for outreach to additional audiences, I had a great experience participating in the brownbag and asking questions from several hundred miles away, via streaming video connection.

The live video feed was being streamed from the Netsquared gathering in San Francisco happening at the same time as the virtual gatherng in Second Life. Pathfinder gave a presentation to a small group in Cambridge , while his audio (some of the time) was streamed into Second Life along with his Powerpoint Slides.
