Beneblog: Technology Meets Society

After the opening show, we were treated to a short video extolling the virtues of investing in Malaysia. It had more of a feeling of a traditional cultural experience than last year's India party (which was Bollywood to the max). Countries vie to sponsor the main event, throwing a big show and serving up their best food.

FYI: I’m in Southeast Asia Giving Social Media Trainings to Nonprofits!

I’ve been fortunate enough to be hired to provide three social media trainings to their nonprofit partners in Malaysia (photo above), Singapore, and the Philippines. One of the biggest take-aways from this trip for me personally is the reminder that we live in very diverse world with multiple political, cultural and religious beliefs.
