We set up tracking with hashtags and keyword searches. Set up Reddit, Digg, and other social news aggregators. We could have build a dashboard for statistics (donations, reddit ranking, retweet count, page views, etc.) We also used free services like Google Groups and Clicky. This means we didn’t need to code too much.
