Apparently, the IT Manager is struggling with Microsoft licensing via Techsoup. When you buy these CDs, you will have to go through the eOpen portal on Microsoft in order to receive the license keys you will need during the installation process. The great thing is that if you build a base image you won’t have to go through the laborious process of entering license keys for each and every installation. As stated by Microsoft: VLK 1.0 – Volume License Key 1.0

To that end, I attended the Pace University Pitch Contest yesterday and was pleased to note that out of the 12 contestants there, five of them were pitches for social ventures. The contest was simplicity itself: each venture had three minutes to pitch in front of an audience and numerous judges. They did well, coming in third in the contest. I’m happy to see a social venture place in the contest.

You should also keep an eye on licensing and copyright.
