I'm not going to ditch email or listservs anytime soon. You can add tags to your documents! (No No folder structure and that takes some getting used to).

There was a recent post on the ASTC listserv from a museum planning to revamp their wayfinding system. Most museums aggregate their content, either by category (Impressionism, Dinosaurs, World War II) or by abstraction (3rd Floor, Green Wing) and the maps reference these aggregate names. We looked at the museum map on the wall.

One of the things that most confounds non-museum folks about museums is the glacial pace of exhibit and program development; I've heard many friends (and some museum execs from other fields) ask why we aren't showing something immediately after a news event related to museum content occurs.
