If you are trying to do an interactive lecture, it stops group interaction. Designing training that is interactive, that goes beyond presenting takes upfront planning.

The Leading Change Summit was more intimate (several hundred people), participatory and interactive, intense, and stimulating. The scribe should only interact with the lead facilitator, not the group. In the case of the Stanford study, I was fascinated to learn that the content of the music video was significant in terms of signaling change in prejudice.
