I'll get a chance to see Miles again at this year's NTC Conference and some lucky local nonprofit in DC will have Miles as a volunteer for the NTC Day of Service ! You could argue there might be some overlapping values that FOSS and Fair Trade share, but otherwise they're not at all the same thing and the comparison doesn't work for me.

Spring is often event season in the nonprofit world and I’ve been involved in my fair share over the past few months as a speaker at a gala, volunteer at a 5k fun run, an attendee at a “friend raiser” for a local politician and a few others in between. as well as year-over-year comparisons for each metric.

There are four tiers of restriction possible with Creative Commons licenses: attribution (must credit author), noncommercial (can't make $$ off of reuse), no derivatives (can't cut, remix, adapt), and share alike (must redistribute with same license). I chose the Attribution Noncommercial license. respectively.
