Earlier this fall, Convio released its " Peer-to-Peer Event Fundraising Benchmark Study ," based on a look at 48 organizations using Convio's TeamRaiser to manage fundraising events. Luminate was the top contender for one of my clients, but they’re strongly considering eliminating Blackbaud from further consideration. I doubt they’re the only ones. The fantastic NPSF (Nonprofit Salesforce) community will help support those who are using it. For example, I know that the Convio data sync we rely on won’t work with the nonprofit starter pack.

Some highlights… Austin noted that Convio now has almost 1,300 clients, after the acquisition of GetActive earlier this year. These nonprofit clients collectively have raised more than $1 billion over the years, using tools provided by Convio and GetActive, he said. Convio has no plan to discontinue the GetActive platform.

Their new products (as well as MPX) have “community editions&# - mostly they lack services and support, which makes sense. There is no community that is at all visible.
