Carnet didn't talk about being the founder of the organization called NOSI - Nonprofit Open Source Initiative, which is an advocate for the use of open source software in the nonprofit sector. Yay Carnet!

Carnet was a great guy to work with in the early days at N-TEN. So much energy and ideas, and always a positive attitude. I'm not surprised that he's found (numerous) ways to stay involved with nonprofit technology. Thanks for re-connecting us with him, Beth!

Aloha friends,

Thanks for the kinds words. I have always and will probably always lurk watching the nonprofit technology sector grow and mature. Michelle thanks for making the plug for NOSI. I am still very proud and happy to see the group continue to grow and move forward. I am now trying to set up a community wireless network here in Hawaii to provide low cost internet access to Hawaiian homeland and low income communities. Will keep you posted!
