Ludwig is a game aimed at educators and students alike. Since most educational games struggle to find logical ways to be integrated into a classroom, Ovos took a different approach by creating a game based solely on curriculum-based material. Documentary footage and stories told through game present images of strong women of color.

One of the nonprofits that inspires me locally here in Santa Cruz is a youth empowerment and food justice organization called "Food, What!?" Doron doesn’t work with A students or B students. Today, there are thirty kids fidgeting in a classroom, talking to their friends, messing with their phones. Hanging out.

Because it was my first time meeting the students, part of the half hour was spent getting to know each other. I highly recommend volunteering with young people, whether they are as little as a kindergartner, or as old as a college student. I had a blast, and hopefully it was a fun learning experience for him too.
