In 2012, President Barack Obama named September National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month to raise awareness of pediatric cancer. Their mission is to collaborate with leading hospitals across the nation and fund clinical trials to find a faster cure for pediatric cancer. Their model worked. Each day, 43 kids in the U.S.

We commissioned new collaborative artwork. The lessons I learned from Lost Childhoods are at the heart of the OF/BY/FOR ALL project we're building now. Through Lost Childhoods , we saw youth step into their power. We'd love to see this model evolve and grow. We co-created it from start to finish with community partners.
