I did not overstate my hopes that it will change internal culture. Certainly the time suck and drain of too much email can be a lever for change to adopt alternatives, such as an internal blog or intrablog. How much do you have to guide the change? I'm finding it very annoying to having to open an attached document from email, save it to my hard drive, and work with track changes or comments though. Wikis and wiki spreadsheets are so much more efficient than sending back word and excel spreadsheets with comments or track changes.

They have set up a wiki for the event on wikispaces, my favorite hosted wiki application. (I I had a change to play in the sandbox with Andy during the CPsquared conference and I hope he is participating.) I watched it as changed and morphed and was pretty amazing.

I've wanted to change to gmail, but need a slow period. Wiki: I love wikispaces, but also use mediawiki, socialtext, and pbwiki. Here's a few tools I'm using: Email: I'm using the comfort blanket that is outlook. I live at the post office. Browser: I use firefox unless I'm forced to use explorer because of a work contract.

I'm noticing a lot of "edited by guest" changes coming through - so as long we don't get spam or mischief I think this good to encourage participation. The wikispaces discussion feature on each page is great for brainstorming ideas, problem solving, or pre-writing. You have to register for wikispaces in order to add yourself.
