My style of teaching is participatory; I don’t lecture with PPT endlessly and involve the audience. So I engaged them in a discussion about term “walking meetings,” and how to change the name as well as make accommodations. The participants came up with a brilliant solution – change the name to “StROLLing Meetings.”

The next step was for participants to draw another circle draw another big circle with pictures representing how the world might change for the positive. The drawings were placed on the walls and participants got to view them. The two worlds were placed side-by-side and participants were asked to draw arrows and label the interventions.

Another story is about the new world of conversation, which I call " Cell Phones on the Green " (PPT): I was walking across the green in the center of the Dartmouth campus one afternoon, and noticed two coeds approaching each other talking on cell phones. We can either be disrupted by the changes or empowered by them.
