In a classroom, everyone knows who walks through the door—but sometimes in Zoom, that’s not clear. One of the best tips is to change what you’re doing every 10 minutes. If you are lecturing, showing slides, otherwise not engaging the audience for more than 10 minutes, something needs to change. Welcome everyone.

Scheduled for November 24 – 26, 2009 , the 48-hour event created by Epic Change will encourage participants to express their thanks using online tools and at live events. Last year, funds from TweetsGiving helped build a classroom in Tanzania. This year, the Epic Change team are working on building a technology lab there.

If you're training a lot of people, try to train in a classroom setting so everyone hears the same thing. But recognize that not everyone will be available for classroom trainings, and some people will need 1 on 1 training to understand the concepts. Test the computers and software in the classroom before every training.

The curriculum integrates the use of technology, for all aspects of instruction and managing the school. One thing that I loved was the playground.
