Post-PC and the new iPad: I get it now

Work email/calendar/tasks is on an Exchange server, personal email is on Gmail. I switched to iCloud for personal calendar/tasks when I got the iPhone 4S last fall to make it easier to stay in sync with my family. I long gave up on iTunes for podcasts and now love Instacast. I’m going to find out. I backup data to iCloud.

iPhone owners: Anyone solved the multi-Mac dilemma?

I use Spanning Sync to keep iCal and Address Book on the laptop in sync with iCal and Address Book on the Mac (and in sync with Google Calendar and Gmail). I want to sync address book/calendar from the MBP when I’m traveling, and then go back to the iMac when I’m home. While I’m gone, no new podcasts.
