It wasn’t yet my turn to drive, and I’d have been broadcasting observations all morning, with nothing better to contribute. We were surprised when we reached a roadblock just West of El Paso. I was also surprised that El Paso, TX is only the half-way point between LA and Austin. No satellite radio yet.

Before Sun Health, Tompkins served as marketing director for Sierra Medical Center, a Tenet Health hospital in El Paso, Texas, and public relations director for Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, Ariz.
