The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has issued a roadblock. encouraging radio stations to simultaneously air public service advertising in support of the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The Red Cross is asking people to extend the road block to social media space. Here's more ways you can participate.

Marfa Public Radio, KRTS , is the little nonprofit that could. This public, listener-supported radio station in West Texas, with only three staff members, carried their community through the largest wildfire in Texas history. Working together to get more information out to the public.

All but three verticals (Association & Membership, Public Broadcasting Stations, and Team Events) had a growth rate greater than 10 percent. The vertical most impacted by the Haiti event was the Disaster & Relief vertical, growing 38 percent from 2009 to 2010. Advocacy continues to play an important role.
