At Beyond Broadcast Conference keynote, Henry Jenkins , used the term " astro turf " to refer to "participatory media" made by big business. We agreed You Tube should be used to showcase video when we decided to experiment with other forms of "emerging technology" like Digg, Flickr, etc.

Leigh Blackall has some great rumblings on his Vision for Wikieducator , but goes onto explain how wikis can be a channel for bringing in content from other sources and being able to broadcast them out on RSS.
