Bandwidth was a problem then, too. I’d have taken a picture and figured out TwitPic. We were surprised when we reached a roadblock just West of El Paso. I was also surprised that El Paso, TX is only the half-way point between LA and Austin. All grounded. We frequently had no radio stations.
