Stacy Surla invited me to participate remotely at the IA Summit taking place this weekend in Las Vegas on a panel about IA in Second Life and informal poster session to introduce Second Life to IA folks. I had skype with a video camera and Second Life application opened (which kept crashing my computer.)

This weekend was Podcamp Boston 2. I attended Saturday, but just like podcamp Boston 1 last year, I learned an incredible amount and met some extraordinary people. I met Boston area documentary filmmakers including Marie Agui Carter , Rhonda Moskowitz and Cheryl from Women in Film and Video New England. I met her through Jane.

At the Boston/New England group, I met PathFinder. He had just checked his email and already knew about the TechSoup's Second Life Nonprofit Directory! Pathfinder Linden at the G4C Conference Originally uploaded by cambodia4kidsorg. At lunch there were small groups by region.

That's my avatar, I'm live blogging from Second Life. From my office in the Boston, I teleported myself into the Virtual World of Second Life and headed straight for the New Media Consortium virtual campus where I joined about 65 other avatars representing educators from all over the world (even Austrailia where it was 3:00 a.m.
