Bit of a balancing act (one of the hardest of my career) to balance "have an individual voice" with "get the approval of the powers that be in your org to post in the first place." There's no reason for them to be natural opposites, but functionally they all too often are.

Not that I'm fucking bitter.

I'm a Twitter newbie, watching how it's used. As a Facebook user I've realized that it's a different party. Very different. And honestly, it's a bit annoying as I'm seeing Twitter users linking all their tweets into their Facebook status update. It's like they haven't taken the time to learn that they're two different parties with two different conversation styles. And on NEITHER can we afford to be loud, clumsy and self-centered.
