Nonprofit Tech 2.0 Celebrates Its One-Year Anniversary!

August 29, 2010

[tweetmeme] One year ago today Nonprofit Tech 2.0 published its first blog post. At the time I was a skeptical blogger. I had low expectations for Nonprofit Tech 2.0. I would have been happy with couple hundred visitors a week, but a year later Nonprofit Tech 2.0 just surpassed 254,000 visitors. I didn’t see that coming at all. In fact, what I have discovered over the last year is that blogging was the missing piece in my social media strategy. It could be for you too. 🙂

To celebrate this one-year anniversary:

1) I donated $500 to some of my favorite nonprofits (#JustDonated).
2) I am offering 20% off my webinar special from now until September 15. 10% of the proceeds are donated to my favorite nonprofits. Simply mention Nonprofit Tech 2.0 when registering to receive the discount.

A Special Thanks ::
To everyone of you who have ever RT’d my content, posted a comment, or taken my webinars (I have almost paid off those student loans!). To Change.org, my clients, Twitter, Fundraising Success Magazine, TechSoup, and my dear, sweet husband for putting up with my social media obsession over the last five years. And last but not least, I want to give muchos kudos and thumbs up to all those nonprofits and activists out there that choose not to be blissfully ignorant. That wake up everyday and choose to be a part of the conversation about what we can do to make this world a better place for all of human, animal, and plantkind. Keep up the good work. The world needs you now more than ever.

    Hello Heather – I see you have a real passion for helping nonprofits with social media and in making our world a better place for everyone and I certainly commend you for all your hard work and I see that many, many nonprofits across the country comment you as well.

    I would just like to take a moment of your time and bring to your attention, as well as to the attention of nonprofits and fundraisers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Connecticut of possibly the easiest fundraiser ever. This program is currently helping nonprofit supporters and constituents save money, while helping the environment and helping nonprofits and fundraisers raise money without having to ask for money all at the same time

    This is truly, just a wonderful opportunity for nonprofits and fundraisers in the above states and soon to be available in the state of New York.

    Please view the following short video which explains in detail how Maryland Pubic Television, Towson University, Judah Temple Amez Church, Christian Life Academy, Faith Apostolic Church, Fraternal Orders of Police, just to name a few of other nonprofits and fundraisers that are all raising money today this exact same way, without having to ask for money, helping the environment and helping supporters save money. It’s truly a wonderful program.
