They wanted to invite visitors to engage in spontaneous wedding ceremonies in the chapel, and so we brainstormed together until we decided on a blackboard with fill-in-the-blank wedding vows. In a traditional museum, I suspect people would see the blackboard as "part of the art" and not touch.
