Must-Read Online Fundraising, Social Media and Mobile Communications Reports for Nonprofits
The reports listed below are just a small sampling of the research available to nonprofits about online communications and fundraising, social media, and mobile technology. These reports are, however, some of the most valuable in terms of insight, useful and practical data, and how-to advice.
If you would like to suggest a report be added to the list, please post the name and a link to the report in a comment below. Most of the reports listed are based on U.S. nonprofit research, but I would also like to add similar reports from other countries. Thanks. 🙂

The Millennial Impact Report is a great report on the habits of younger donors and how best to engage them. http://themillennialimpact.com/
I second Vinod’s sentiments. It’s a great report on the motivations and habits of younger donors and volunteers.
Thanks guys. Will add it this week. 🙂
Superb post. I especially enjoyed #5, text donations. Reposted on my company FB page. I’m working with a small non-profit to create a crowdsourcing campaign to invest in marketing materials – this site is so very helpful.
Connecting Up in Australia recently updated its website. The correct link for Connecting Up research reports is http://www.connectingup.org/learn/downloads

I follow the Nonprofit Tech 2.0 blog in WordPress, so this post came to me, I didn’t have to go find it. One reason why you should follow the blogs that are relevant and interesting to you.
Thanks for sharing– a great resource. I’m working with local NGOs in Afghanistan on some marketing, PR, and outreach strategies. We are exploring ways in which to apply many of these principles to fit the local environment. Keep up the good work.
This is fantastic. Thanks!!
What about Canada?
Can’t find any and despite posting numerous requests on Twitter, no one from Canada has ever emailed me an information on social media reports from Canada. Know any reports?
