Each year the International Computer Refurbishers Summit awards a lifetime achievement award. This year the award went to Nancy Jo Craig who runs the nonprofit Capital Area Corporate Recycling Council (CACRC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It was not an easy road for Nancy. So our first exchange that we did with Global Exchange was called "Transformative Advocacy in Bolivia." We brought a group of ten environmental justice lawyers from throughout North America to work in partnership with grassroots women leaders in Bolivia, with the focus on sustainable agriculture and food security issues.

I realize now that it wasn't an accident, this life journey. They wanted more training in-depth, and they wanted to really learn how to use all these different tools to get ahead in life and advance their dreams. I love to live life large, but I also work very hard. So, we started this program. Last year we piloted it, in 2009.
