Step 2: Create avatars and banners for your chapters. On your nonprofit’s website, the head office should offer a downloadable version of your nonprofits primary avatar (250 x 250 pixels). If they do not have the capacity, then the head office must customize the avatar for them. For 10 chapters or less, use Skype Premium.

I had skype with a video camera and Second Life application opened (which kept crashing my computer.) You can see the back of my avatar in the green skirt, the male avatar is Josh Knauer , and my colleague, Susanne Nyrop from Denmark who we bumped into while wandering around Boracay Island. the networking piece that happens.

But there is also a trust issue too -- particularly if you don't know all the avatars in real life. There is a new tool called SecondTalk that lets you integrate skype with Second Life. Problem, of course, is that I'm not sure exactly how it might support a group call on Skype.
