Profile : Select your profile image to access your profile. Create your Oculus Avatar. Have fun with your avatar! That said, for someone like me ( Heather Mansfield ) who is very uncomfortable on camera in real life, it’s not uncomfortable being an avatar of myself in Oculus. That’s it for now!

In simple terms, if your NGO, nonprofit, or charity purchases a.NGO domain, then you will be automatically be provided a profile in the new.NGO Global Directory. Until then, below is a draft design of the new profiles ( submit your feedback ) that will be launched in conjunction with the new.NGO Global Directory.

Now that Google+ is open to everyone, all nonprofit staff can start experimenting and familiarizing themselves with Google+ before the brand pages, also known as Google+ Business Profiles , are launched later this month. You can add me as your first contact to begin, if necessary. A Google Account is different from a Google Profile.

Hire a graphic designer to design a square avatar(s). Create a Twitter Profile. Set up Flickr Profile. Add funders and partners as contacts. Create and complete your personal profile. Reserve your LinkedIn Public Profile URL. Create a Foursquare personal profile and check in. Create a Google account.

Show them how to develop their avatar, fill out their profile, or use the text and video chat features. Explain to them how they can easily share their contact details with other event attendees. Attendee avatars can provide attendees with a sense of control and help them project the exact image they want to convey.

With BuddyPress you can build member profiles, create user groups and activity streams and set up notification alerts and dedicated messaging. Feature rich, it allows you to set up social sharing as well as a contact form and integration with Google Maps. If your site is content rich, consider Sufia as a theme option.

Small nonprofits can barely invest the time it takes to manage a Facebook Page and Twitter Profile.
