How it differs from your traditional PowerPoint presentation is that the speaker uses 20 slides and has 20 seconds per slide to speak. The slides are set up to auto-run so they advance automatically. Then after the 6:40 is up (20 slides x 20 seconds = 6 minutes 40 seconds) the presenter sits down. That’s it.

Adults tend to interpret information received in a training based on existing knowledge in their brains and then integrate it with previous experiences. Incorporate the three learning styles: visual, audio, and somatic. The session slide deck is also available on Slideshare.net.

It's better if you view the slide show in its full size here. Threads is an online media album that allows people to make audio or text comments and embed those comments on the Slide Show. You can also leave a comment in the slide show or set one up yourself. What a great way to tell a shared story!

A lot of organizations we work with are increasingly using web conferencing to have more productive meetings with staff in the field, share knowledge across projects and programs, and conduct training. Don't forget clear instructions about audio, whether using teleconference or VOIP. The presenter(s) should practice beforehand ?

15 per person/minute for audio is very tough to swallow. Even the unlimited plans (which start at $50/month, or possibly discounted) have pricing for audio, which I hadn’ t realized. It was this audio pricing that drove a stake in the heart of my ReadyTalk plan. It does, apparently, do audio via VOIP. It’s $.24
