If you have more than a few international participants, especially from developing countries, voice connectivity for the audio portion of the meeting can quickly become a problem. Don't forget clear instructions about audio, whether using teleconference or VOIP. The presenter(s) should practice beforehand ? During the meeting.

Tonight we worked on Harry's slide show. I showed him the basics of how to extract the photos from the camera, how to insert them into PowerPoint, and some basic instruction on PowerPoint. Our next task is to add some audio and I think I might use Alan Levine 's 50 ways to tell a story next to teach him some web 2.0

After seeing Nancy White's experiment and discovering Amit Agarwal's excellent instructions for. Embed Powerpoint Slides as Flash Presentations in your Blog without Spending a Dime , I just had to try it. I exported the slides a jpg because I didn't have enough bandwidth to upload the pngs as batch without the upload bombing.

Pathfinder gave a presentation to a small group in Cambridge , while his audio (some of the time) was streamed into Second Life along with his Powerpoint Slides. I also turned off my audio. Also, we should ask people not to take photos or chat during the presentations as the sound of cameras snapping made the audio hard to hear.
