Post conference, I also learned of TwapperKeepr and Roomatic as hashtag grouping tools. I mentioned that I was able to track only the last 1500; he replied and said that their tool actually archives all hashtagged tweets, which he was able to send me as a data file, which is how I got the 1874 total.
