Digital Storytelling is in the air around TechSoup these days, and thanks to a grant from Symantec we have been able to experiment and create some new videos. We aimed to make this video informative, concise, and personable. As for the sound, I had an Audio-Technica AT899 lavalier microphone attached to record my voice.

opening the room at the right time, filtering questions, and managing the recording so we have a file we can post afterwards. I record the webinar from my VMWare Fusion Windows 7 virtual machine, upload the file to our Vimeo Plus account , embed back on our website. I got the file the next day and I couldn't do a thing with it.

One thing I learned just two weeks ago from a phone call to the TechSmith tech support guy is that the.wmv files from Ready/Talk can be run through microsoft media encoder - so they could be pulled into Camtasia and edited. However, the idea of editing a long file in Camtasia does not sound appealing to me.).

But wait a minute, what if I could create a screencast out of a screensharing session or using a web conference system like Ready/Talk that offers video/audio recording? Does he edit in Camtasia? So, I just plunged in with Ready/Talk and made a quick video/audio capture of me talking to myself while looking at my screen.

Why add KB or MB to the file size when my content instructional. Lack of technical skills or software tools in cutting, splicing, fading the audio and weaving it with the video track. Here I found phosphor by Francesco Stablum and decided to incorporate it into the video I created to practice my music skills.
