I've really been into using black Strathmore Photo Mount Greeting Cards with Silver Sharpies and Sparkly Gelly Roll pens. Add photos to your cards.

When you connect an iOS device to a PC photo library, you are given the option to delete photos from camera roll after the photos have been transferred.
