Last month, the Japan earthquake and tsunami occurred on March 11th 2011, the first day of the conference. That morning, I saw the jaw-dropping photos and videos from the Japan tsunami disaster. Meanwhile, bloggers Leigh Duncan and Deb Ng were starting a grassroots effort to raise awareness and support for the Japan disaster too.

We're showing an installation by artist Shelby Graham which features beautiful photographs of butterflies juxtaposed with images of the bombing of Japan in World War II.
