A production grid is easy to produce in a collaborative tool like Google Docs and is easily shared via email or file sharing. The global production team included filmmakers, photographers, artists, architects, and designers, some of whom were volunteers. Building a Team.

We reviewed a handful of existing policies from other institutions (local and national, museums and not), discussed their attributes, and started drafting/stealing/reworking with a Google doc. We partner with thousands of artists and organizations, providing staff support and engagement in their work. We only met once in person.

This exhibition is a big accomplishment for us because it incorporates multiple ways we push boundaries at the MAH: we co-designed it with 100+ community partners (C3) , including artists, foster youth, and youth advocates, with youth voices driving the project from big idea to install to programming.

So I just want to say, by the way, that artists have left a huge legacy around San Francisco during this pandemic. This is Giving Docs, which the ACLU is using to let people just come on here and click and leave their legacy in very simple steps. Why is that? It’s really because no one asks them. There are new services now.
