I have been knee deep researching and thinking about Web Analytics in general and Google Analytics in particular for a third screencast in a series I'm doing for NTEN. Double check redirects – If you have changed your domain name or the structure of your site significantly you’ll want to ensure that links to old content redirect properly for popular content throughout the site. Feedburner will also make sure your site feed is recognized by major browsers and feed readers.

I do experiments like this, but I don't necessarily put them in a structure that allows for easy evaluation. My subscriber stats went down and I got several emails from folks asking me if I was okay. I'm am inspired to do something like this and incorporate the use of google analytics to get some qualitative data.

One way of conceptualizing this is using blocks to make a structure. Companies like WealthEngine, Target Analytics and even FirstGiving Insights will take your existing donor data and utilize APIs from across the Web to create a richer picture of your constituents.
