I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and both sets of my grandparents came from rural Mississippi. I mean, they're a business and their bottom line is generating capital. I was really moved by their analysis that looked at the intersection between poverty, institutional racism, and malnutrition, or food insecurity.
