The National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) is an organization dedicated to "creating a social, political and economic environment in which violence against women no longer exists. Empowerment, Shelter, and Support. On October 1, Brighter Tomorrows held a Candlelight Vigil at a local police department.

The Women of Color Resource Center has been around for a little over 17 years and we are a pretty impressive place, I think, because we are one of the very few places in the nation, and globally, that holds the interest of women of color, and girls of color as a central piece of our work. Drivers talked about their dream to somehow run their own app as an alternative to Uber. After one year of planning, New York’s Drivers Cooperative was born in May of 2021 , with a goal to launch an on-demand app owned by workers themselves which customers can use as an alternative to Uber and Lyft for hailing rides.
