Here are some of my favorite tools and how I use them to stay organized and be productive: Google Workspace, formerly known as G Suite: I cannot imagine a more important set of tools for nonprofit productivity than these free tools from Google: Google Docs , Google Sheets , Google Forms , Google Slides , and Google Calendar.

For Google Apps administrators, the offerings in the Google Apps Marketplace seems to be a lot of 3rd party tools that pull in gApps data (Docs, Calendar, etc.) You can click on a user name and force reset their password, set nicknames (alternate usernames) and include them in the shared contacts directory (more on that later).

Google docs will take a good long time to make it to the point where the functionality begins to match either MS Office or OOo/LO, so OOo/LO is a very good alternative to MS Office if you don’t need MS Access, and have folks able and willing to make a small adjustment to use this tool.

It’s quite good, and there are some useful docs to see it at work on the CiviCRM wiki. I’d love to find an organization, such as a small human services organization, in need of case management software, that could use CiviCase - it would be a great, and relatively inexpensive alternative to current offerings out there.

is another alternative with similar features, though the implementation doesn’t seem as well designed. If your in that camp it’s likely you are using Google Drive, Google’s document collaboration tool and its replacement for Google Docs. Other apps looking out for women’s safety include Hollaback!
