Online fundraising revenue grew overall by 14% between 2009 and 2010. Both of them involved celebrities.

Luckily, Blackbaud issued the 2010 Online Giving Report last week. The report includes online giving data from over 1,400 nonprofits. Online giving grew 34.5% of total fundraising now comes from online giving. 88% of nonprofits had at least one online gift of $1,000 or more. Don't ignore them!

Direct Relief International was involved in the Haitian earthquake in 2010 and the Japan earthquake in 2011, providing aid to thousands.
