My second presentation was an introduction to the Martus software. You can read about some of the NGOs that have used Martus to back up their data in Guatemala, Sri Lanka, the Phillippines, and Colombia. Human rights documentation can take many forms including interviews, photographs, and official documentation.

In this photo, Tyler is listening to a book from Bookshare.org on his school's laptop with the assistance of the Kurzweil 3000 audio software. It is open source software, but we're experimenting with a revenue model to sustain the project over the long term. Well, I just got my first one out in 2008! students. Not Benetech!
